DPOC Says No to Supreme Court Nomination Neil Gorsuch

President Trump’s nomination of extreme conservative Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court is another direct attack on immigrant and LGBTQ communities. Not only that, President Trump and some Senate Republicans are now trying to blow up centuries-old U.S. Senate rules to push through Gorsuch- despite obstructing former President Barack Obama’s nominee for almost a year without even holding a hearing!

Neil Gorsuch is a judge that consistently sided against the people throughout his career. One of his landmark rulings was siding with business leaders, like Hobby Lobby, stating they could block contraception coverage in their employee’s healthcare benefits. At 49, this is someone who can serve on our Supreme Court for decades.

The Republican-led Senate effectively stole the Supreme Court seat last year. This is where Senate Democrats have to draw the line. Enough is enough.
