On Monday, June 25, the delegates of the Democratic Party of Orange County Central Committee passed a formal resolution opposing the Trump Administration’s decision to separate migrant families seeking asylum. The resolution also demanded immediate reinstatement of DACA status.
President Donald Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions will receive the resolution, issued on behalf of Orange County’s 500,000 registered Democratic Party members. Copies will be issued to all Democratic federal representatives of Orange County: Senators Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris, and Congressmembers Lou Correa (CA-46), Linda Sanchez (CA-38), and Alan Lowenthal (CA-47).
