Orange County Black leaders join together in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

Orange, Calif. — On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 18, Orange County Black leaders spanning community service, education, business and civil rights organizing will gather for a virtual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Event organizers are thrilled to announce Rev. James Lawson, the “architect of the nonviolence movement,” as a guest lecturer. A nonviolence theorist and educator, Rev. Lawson mentored many leaders of the Civil Rights Movement including Congressman John Lewis.
