Strike for Mental Health Care
Nearly 4,000 National Union of Healthcare Workers-represented psychologists, social workers, therapists, and addiction medicine specialists have decided to hold a 5-day strike the week of December 16th to urge Kaiser to increase staffing to improve mental health care access for Kaiser’s 9 million California members.
Workers call on the community to join the picket lines in solidarity. In Orange County, strikes will occur at Kaiser facilities in Anaheim, with rallies at noon each day. Click here for details, including all strike times and locations.
